The
desire to create, own and manage a business offering INNOVATIVE
Concepts and Creative World-class Flexible
Solutions (ICCWFS)
surfaced during my senior year of high school, just prior to my
acceptance into the
School of Electrical Engineering at West Virginia University. This
desire was put on the back burner until May of 1988 when I retired
from AT&T Technologies (A Fortune 10 Company) with 25 Years of
Service.
It was no
surprise to me that during my 25 year career with AT&T
I
was always cognizant of and interested in the application, creation,
and development and of leading edge technologies and innovations as
solutions for/to clients needs, wants, and business problems.
This
desire just wouldn’t go away, and I finally recognized that I needed and wanted to start a business
which would allow me the opportunity to pursue this strong interest
in the application, creation, development and implementation of
innovative concepts and creative world-class flexible solutions
for all types of businesses and organizations all around the
world.
The additional desire to be recognized and given due credit and compensation for the innovative concepts and solutions created and developed as a result of hard work and study of advances in technologies and the need for application of these advances to business and life’s problems has resulted in the creation of this consulting business.
In
view of the above,
INNOVATIVE
Concepts and Creative World-class Flexible
Solutions
(ICCWFS) and INNOVATIVE Concepts/ Solutions, both Sole Proprietorship
Businesses, were created in 1995.
Family responsibilities then interrupted this effort until
October 1999.
And,
in October 1999 additional opportunities for these businesses
occurred when two National
Associations decided to relocate their Headquarter Offices and
because of these decisions developed a need to outsource the
responsibilities required for planning, coordinating and managing
their Annual Conferences and Meetings.
Contracts were negotiated with these two National
Associations at that time and contracts with two additional
associations were negotiated later.
Please
note that the goal for these businesses is to
provide as
many clients as possible with the innovative concepts,
ideas, services and solutions that
will cause clients (when asked what makes their
businesses/organizations so successful) to say: “We see C. W.
Freeland’s consulting
business for
the INNOVATIVE
Concepts and Creative World-Class Flexible
Solutions (ICCWFS) we need to make our business/organization
more successful and
project the professional leading edge image we
must establish and maintain for our business/organization to
enjoy continued success!“
